At this stage there will be a consultation between both solicitors to ensure a speedy conclusion to the sale, the purchaser's solicitors will be sending out their appointed Engineer to do a structural survey on your property. Barrett, Auctioneers & Property Consultants will ensure that this stage of the process is as painless as possible by ensuring you are fully informed and insisting that the engineer conducts his report speedily).
At this stage the purchasers will sign contracts and return them to your solicitor, when received you will sign and one contract will be returned to the purchasers solicitor (both parties are now legally bound). At this stage the closing date for the sale will be agreed (usually 28 days from signing of contracts) on and all parties should be made will be aware of this date.
