Congratulations to the Spillane Family and to all involved on another super headline success.
There was 100% clearance of females with a top price of €3,200. The in-calf heifers averaged €2,534 gns and the 2021 calves averaged €1,525 gns. With 5 – 2021 bull calves selling for an average of €1,733 gns.
These prices were a true reflection of the Mountain breeding philosophy. The consistency, longevity, production, and protein of this tremendous herd were evident throughout each and every animal on show whether in the sales ring or in the field.

There was an 87% clearance on the day with all unsold animals being retained on the farm for the new operator. 4 animals sold to the UK. We had 20% of all animals sold online.

I would like to thank Paul Murphy and his team Brendan Greenan and Christy McCarthy for preparing the animals. I would like to thank all Jerome’s neighbours and friends for helping make the sale run smoothly. I would like to thank Micheal & Breda for all their hospitality.
